Any information on quivering lips? My daughter is nearly 14. From the age of around 2 she intermittently gets an involuntary quivering lip. It lasts around 2 minutes. No idea what causes it. Hasn't got any better or worse. We thought it stopped for a few years and she'd grown out of it but now it's coming back.

If it’s like a muscle spasm thing, you could try a magnesium supplement, that can sometimes help? Benign muscle twitching can be made worse by stress and tiredness, so a good sleep routine, relaxation etc is also recommended. My eyelid always twitches when I’m stressed, it makes me feel like a Bond villain and it’s annoying, but it fades away after a week or so. (Twitching inside my ear drives me mad but that’s rarer thankfully!). But tbh the more she focuses on it the more it will probably quiver, so it’s often best just to be breezily reassuring, and distract her with something. If she has any kind of muscle weakness or facial asymmetry, it would need checking out with her GP. And if it’s not muscle twitching but something different, ignore the above!
