3 yo toes

DD's toes have always been a bit funny, but these two (each on a different foot) have been standing out quite a lot recently. Red and swollen when when warm, blue/purpleish when cold.

I think it's going to be circulation thing but doesn't feel like it warrants a Dr visit...

Anyone else experienced this?

Those look like chilblains to me! DS2 gets them.

Check for any hairs round the toes tonight.
GP appointment tomorrow, say you are worried about infection and send them a picture

This definitely warrants a visit to the doctor

Definitely not hairs wrapped round.

She has had chilblains in her fingers at around 1 year old. But they was when we were out and went inside.

It's not uncommon for these particles toes to be a bit redder or bluey/purple and a little bit swollen, but it does seem to have stood out more this evening...

Should say as well not bothering her in the slightest...

So in case anyone in future experience the same I'll give an update...

She woke up at 3am very upset and in pain, and we had a rough night.

She couldn't walk in the morning and was only really calm again midday with (by then) 3 doses of painkillers in her.

We saw a paramedic at the GP who said likely Reynard's syndrome.

She's walking again but toes are still sore. Going to see a doctor next week for a second opinion and will keep a daily record or pictures.

Really took me by surprise how quickly it all changed for her. Hopefully the Dr can give us a definite diagnosis...
