Has anyone had allergy testing done on their hols privately and can recommend?

I'm talking about the skin prick tests as opposed to blood test...

Would be for a 4 year old and were South east based

I would absolutely recommend Dr Helen Cox Dr Helen Cox Paediatric Allergist London | Dr Helen Cox Paediatrician - Home

I think she's meant to be one of the top children allergy specialists in Europe. She was really kind and helpful and took my child's eczema seriously. Even when all the tests were negative she had suggestions for what to do, which worked, as well as a plan B for more serious medication if they hadn't worked. She works at a few hospitals in London so should work if you're in the SE.

It was over £500 for allergy testing, then £250 if you needed to see her again, but that was a few years ago so I would think it's a bit higher than that now.

Why don’t you want NHS testing?
we had top 20 allergens pin prick tested on our 1 year old on NHS. They were really efficient

Thank you for this, I will have a look into it!

Our daughter has really bad eczema and we have been with a private consultant whom was recommended on here; it's a compound cream which does work great, but really don't want to be on it forever and would like to get to the bottom of the cause!

More than happy to use the NHS if they will refer us for it!

We have already had to go private to get a treatment for my daughter's eczema that actually works, so just want an alternate incase we can't get the referral, or it takes forever etc
