My baby doesn't roll at 6 months

Hi all,
My baby is not interested in rolling and he is 6.5 months. He was born full term and there were no issues during the natural birth.
At first I was concerned as he hated tummy time, then he mastered tummy time reluctantly but still refused to roll (either way).
He loves to sit up and is mostly doing it unassisted (I say mostly because after some minutes he would usually fall over). He is meeting all his other milestones that are age appropriate and this is literally the only one, the not rolling. He is not a small baby, perhaps a tad chubbier than average. I wonder whether this is a factor.
What about your babies, has anyone experienced similar? Should I be concerned?
Thank you Xx

Very similar for me, and please don't waste time worrying about it like I did! My son HATED tummy time and would kick off if I put him on his tummy 😂 he was a very chubby little fella too. I worried non stop even though he was very advanced in everything else. Then he turned 11 months old and out of no where started crawling, pulling himself up and cruising, he's now all over the place and I can't bloody keep up with him! They will do it when they're ready, your little one sounds like they're doing great 😊

Also to add my boy wasn't interested in rolling whatsoever and only really started doing it right before he crawled (around 10 months ish!)

DD2 was very similar. My HV said as she was sitting and moving in other ways, not to worry and it would come. She was correct and at 8months, she is now rolling, moving from tummy time into a sitting position by herself and nearly crawling. If it would put your mind at ease, you could always ask your HV to come and check your baby over?

My 1st walked at 13 months. My 2nd started walking at 18 months and kept tripping over. We went everywhere with a toy supermarket trolley, his favourite toy. He was diagnosed with muscle weakness around 2.5. It was never bad enough to get treated so it never was. Somehow my son grew out of it. He did develop flat feet at 12 and had to do exercises for a short while. Now a teenager, he goes to the gym 3 times a week with friends and is in top sets at secondary school.
