Bronchiolitis help??

Anyone got some experience/advice with this please?
Basically this is my 3rd child, she has recently turned 1 yr old. My older children were lucky and never had any respiratory issues so even though I’m a 3rd time mum. This is my 1st time dealing with this.
We’ve all had a very minor runny nose the past few days. Nothing major at all. I wouldn’t even class it as a cold. Minor sniffles. My baby caught it last and had a runny nose yesterday but was fine other than that. Then in the night she was up coughing. This morning when we got up I noticed straight away that her breathing was noisy.
No temp at all. Drinking ok. Doesn’t want to eat. She’s alert. She’s become more irritable as the day has gone on but I believe it’s due to tiredness as she’s not slept great because of the cough. I’ve been regularly counting her breaths per minute and she’s within normal range although it sounds faster than normal. And there is some tummy sucking in when she’s breathing which is what is bothering me the most. But she’s a good colour (no blue) and there’s no nostril flaring.
I’m guessing she may have bronchiolitis from what I’ve read online.
I obviously really want to avoid a&e if I can but equally I won’t hesitate to go if I need to.
Do you think I’m safe to continue monitoring her at home overnight? Get her checked over in the morning somewhere?
Xx

The sucking in around her ribs/tummy is the concern here.
I’d call 111 for advice.
Hope she picks up soon

On the whole she sounds ok I think, though you mention tummy sucking in. Do you mean under the ribs? My understanding is that that, or pulling in at the base of the neck/throat, is a sign they’re having to work really hard to breathe and should be checked out. Do you have a minor injuries you can go to rather than a&e? Maybe call 111 and see what they say. I am not a medical professional, just repeating what I remember from my daughter being admitted with it.

Call 111

Ring 111 for advice - there may be an urgent care centre near you that will see her. She needs examination if she is getting sternal retraction (tummy sucking in). Hope she recovers soon
