Enamel hypoplasia and diet?

So my DS5 has had some baby teeth extracted, now his adult teeth are growing in.

Obviously I’m quite strict on sugar, but one thing that confuses me is fruit? My little one definitely prefers to eat small and often. I limit grapes and raisins to meal times - but what about other fruits? Also, is there any other snacks i can give that aren’t full of sugar?

If fruit has something done to it ie it is dried or pulped or juiced then it is as bad as sweets or coke. Likewise not before bedtime . However, on the whole, whole unprocessed fruit is fine.
Watch out for “healthy” snacks like granola bars, oat bars ,flavoured yoghurt which are full of sugar .
Veg , cucumber and celery sticks dipped in peanut butter/humus/guacamole
toast and butter or marmite or peanut butter
cheese and bread sticks
plain rice cakes with soft cheese
boiled egg and soldiers etc are all good snacks/light meals.
plain Greek yoghurt with some berries

cheese is particularly good as it neutralises the acid from plaque and sugars and coats the teeth .
