Baby virus- sleeping a lot and not eating

My 14 month old has an upper respiratory virus the doctor said after a trip to see them on Monday. She has a cough, runny nose, sneezing and a red throat.
She got a fever for the first time with this illness last night; she slept almost all day yesterday and has been asleep overnight for 12 hours, really unlike her.
Shes also not really eating but still breastfeeding as normal.
Does this sound normal? Especially the sleeping? Or should I pop her back to the doctors?
Thanks :)

How does she seem now OP?

Does Calpol bring the fever down? And is she still weeing?

The fever could mean that she now has an infection. If you're in any doubt, see a GP today.

Yeah she just had that one fever that calpol brought down straight away. Really full nappy over night, dry before her bath but it hadn’t been on long just waiting for another full nappy.
Shes had a tiny bit of breakfast, lots of boob, she’s had a bath and seems brighter but getting really tired again now.
She feels hot but no actual temp but given her calpol anyway.
Husband has booked the day off tomorrow so I’m going to keep an eye today and take her first thing if she’s no different tomorrow.

I'm glad she's seemed a bit brighter this morning. I think being congested can make them not feel like eating but if she's BF well she'll get some nutrition from that anyway and be well hydrated.

I hope she keeps picking up. Always trust your instincts though and have her checked over if you're worried again!
