Would you send child to nursery with cold/cough

Would you send 3 year old to nursery with cough/cold if happy in himself? Just wondered if the nursery would think it's wrong, cause in my opinion coughs and colds aren't big of a deal but I feel like since Covid viruses and common colds seem a bit more demonized 😅

Yes, otherwise they'd miss 5 months a year! If normal temperature, eating and drinking, and you have to work, then absolutely.

Yes, absolutely. If they're well in themselves and no temp then school or nursery is fine.

Some kids have minor colds for half of autumn and winter so they'd never be there otherwise!

If well within themselves and have no fever, yes I'd send them in.

We always tell our nursery if DD had been/is unwell, they usually say as long as she's not got a fever and is alert & active, a snuffy nose and cough isn't a problem

My rule of thumb is they can go in unless they have a fever or are clearly unwell ie sleeping or not eating. A bit of a cough is fine especially as they drag on even once they've recovered.

Yes I would. As far as I know government advise is to do just that.

Yes, as long as they are well enough to cope with the day’s activities.

Yes, I doubt they'd be the only one there with a cough or cold at this time of year.
