Toddler pooing lots and nappy rash

Hi - my toddler usually does 3-4 poos a day but the past few weeks she has been going 5-6 times and every time her bum is really red, even if I change her nappy straight away. She’s also been restless of a nighttime which isn’t like her. I’m worried she’s having issues with her tummy and if there’s anything I can do to help or should I take her to a GP? She shows no signs of discomfort in the day other than when I change her bum and it’s sore. I also noticed yesterday there is a bit more whole food in her poo than normal. Any advise?!

And most the poos are solid and formed, a few have been a bit loose but not dihorrea like

Perhaps her body has become allergically sensitised to something she is eating or drinking? You could research the usual allergen suspects and try cutting them out one by one and see if anything makes a difference.

The whole food coming out is quite normal but it could be a sign she is eating too quickly and not chewing enough. Or it could be something more worrying like Coeliac disease or Crohns disease. I think taking her to see a GP might be helpful.

Is she eating anything new? She could be restless because her bottom is sore, are you putting anything on it?
