Does plagiocephaly truly get better by itself?

I have a three month old with what I would describe as moderate plagiocephaly. One side of her forehead is slightly protruding. I have started to do lots of tummy time and repositioning as she favours her right side. But I have a fear that it won't get better by itself. Does anyone have any experience with plagiocephaly. Was a helmet required or did it get better on its own?

I totally understand how tough it is to figure out the next steps. I've been there myself. My youngest son, who just turned two, also had plagiocephaly, and I can relate to all the stories shared here. If you're feeling uncertain, I really recommend seeking advice as soon as possible. With the help of my physiotherapist, we developed a solid treatment plan, and she suggested I use the Skully Care App. It was so easy to use. I could monitor my son's progress by simply uploading a photo of his head, and within minutes, I'd receive the results. It made the whole process much more manageable!
