Prolapse worries

Desperate for advice.
Noticed prolapse in child a few years ago while potty training. Was put on 1 daily Laxido at that time and had almost weaned off however noticed prolapse again a few months ago. Child has been under care of children’s continence nurse since, taking 2 Laxido daily, also had a week of stimulant laxatives incase any blockages causing issues - none evident. Poos are always soft and smooth. Diet good. Water intake good.

HOWEVER
child’s poos always come out with alarming velocity, and are so so long. Length of my forearm at least, although perfectly smooth and toothpaste textured.

We are still waiting on paediatrician appointment and I am desperate to avoid surgery on prolapse (which is still happening) - is there something I can do…is the really rapid, forceful poo something to worry about or the length of it?

Incase it’s relevant, width of poo is normal (have showed videos to nurse)

It just sounds like an efficient bowel to me. What did the nurse say.

She wasn’t concerned about baggy colon or impacted bowel. Just adamant it’s straight to surgery. This is what I’m desperate to avoid.

TMI when the first extremely long poo hurtles out at alarming speed, there’s normally some straining after to get the last little bit out. This is when prolapse happens. I don’t know how so much poo can be inside such a tiny body ☹️ Always one, if not 2 bowel movements daily.

I would probably wait for the experts tbh. Go through your fears of surgery.
