Lumps on babies head

Hi all. My little girl is 3 months old tomorrow. Last week when feeding her I felt 2 pea like lumps on the back of her head, one either size & both almost moveable under the skin. Of course I’ve started to uncontrollably worry! I’ve had her to the GP twice who wasn’t too concerned. He said they’re in the path of her lymph nodes and I’m going back to review in 2 weeks. She doesn’t seem unwell in herself & no obvious signs of infection, so unsure why her lymph nodes would be swollen. I noticed them about 3 weeks after her first injections, not sure when they appeared but surely I would’ve noticed them before if they’d been there a while.

Has anyone else noticed similar on their baby or can reassure me that this could be normal?

From a very worried Mumma x

It'll be occipital lymph nodes. Incredibly common. In babies you can feel them even when they're a perfectly normal size, because they basically sit where there's very little tissue over the skull for them to hide in. The same size lymph nodes in say the sides of the neck, you wouldn't even be able to feel them.

Thank you so much @nocoolnamesleft - I did think that after doing some research but I really thought I would have noticed them before (I suppose they’ll be growing as she is growing, which makes sense). I’ve never known worry like it since becoming a parent! Thanks again.
