Worried about my babies growth

Hello

I was pregnant with identical twins, sadly we lost our donor twin at 16 weeks. Had a fairly straight forward pregnancy for the recipient after that. Although he was a little small he grew steadily and the MRI showed a healthy brain. He is now 6 months, he has had several hospital stays with wheezing and reflux, which we now have under control. My other concern is how small he is, he was born 2.765kg (at 39weeks) and has grown, now 8kg but he is only 2nd percentile for length and so much smaller than all the other babies. I and his father are 5ft11/180cm tall so would expect him to be taller. Is he just smaller because he was a twin and just a bit behind or should I be worried about his health and development. I also feel like he has stopped or slowed down growing over the last 3/4 weeks. Feeling like I should seek medical advice but dont know if I am making too much of it. Its so hard navigating him being a twin but also sadly not a twin.

Does anyone have any similar experiences or any advice. Thanks

Are you and the health visitor plotting a growth chart? Often the easiest way to tell what is actually happening with growth over time. It must be said length measurements are often not very reliable in little ones.

He has been 9th percentile the 25th but then they said he was 2nd percentile so he was growing but now seems to have gone down. I think he is difficult to measure but could also be that he's not keeping up growth wise. With no one seeming to get an accurate measurement its difficult. I will try and book an appointment with my health visitor, and see if they can help. Thanks.
