Any nurses, pharmacists/docs who can help with this dosage calculation?

We have 75mg dispersible aspirin that we dilute in 5ml water and give to our daughter because she needs 60mg.

HOWEVER from today we are supposed to give her only 25mg. If we dilute the 75mg tablet in 6ml water and only give her 2ml of that solution, would that be correct?

Many thanks in advance x

Am not pharmacist or nurse but assuming the solution after dissolving the aspirin also has a 6ml volume then one third of this will necessarily contain one third of the aspirin.

Just be really careful that the medicine is completely disolved and the liquid looks uniform in consistency. If this isn't done then you'll get a variable dose depending on whether you draw it from a more or less concentrated part of the volume.
