3 Year old horse voice and chesty cough, tug below neck and fast breathing

(Hoarse*) My 3 year old girl has recently had a rash that has now disappeared, but developed a cough the past few days, sounds chesty/Flem kind.
She had a temp of 37 no higher, it has since gone down, but her voice is so harsh, stuggles to cry when upset and i can see a tug below her neck and belly breathing, her heart rate was 130 and oxygen level kept dipping to 94-95, this morning it was 96/97.
She is still happy, plays as normal, takes deep breathes after going upstairs, or walking a lot. (She hasn't got asthma)
Something a doctor should examine? Or just see how she gets on?

Nope I would get her seen with those symptoms, she needs a review by a dr so gp or a&e as soon as you can. I don’t mess with breathing issues, count her resp rate. It’s hard to gauge on here as I can’t see your daughter but the tugging at her neck could be a tracheal tug and she possibly has recession (where her ribs suck in when breathing) her high hr and ? Low sats are all something I would get checked out asap, I’m talking as a mum of an asthmatic and a paeds nurse.

Early intervention is key, and if it’s nothing then great but otherwise be overly cautious with this, you’re concerned enough to come on here so phone gp/go to a&e asap

She needs to go to A&E, the tugging and quick breaths mean she's struggling with her breathing so she needs a doctor to assess her and likely give her a nebuliser and steroids. This isn't one to delay.

Did you get her checked out? Tracheal tug and abdominal breathing are well worth being checked out by a doctor.

I'm not a melodramatic 'A&E now!' poster, but your post causes me concern and I would go to have her checked out, immediately. At the very least, her breathing is compromised and her O2 levels may be low.

I got her checked, her oxygen levels were fine, 97% and her tug did actually stop towards the end of the day! They said she had a slight temp and her fast breathing was due to fighting off a virus/cough.
Thank you all for the replies, I didn't respond because I was pn way to get her checked! No chances taken here. She is a lot happier today and her breathing has improved massively.
