Seems only the plain says paediatric and not the orange, the dr at the hospital prescribed the orange to try as my 18mo is struggling to drink the plain but the pharmacist says the orange is 12+.

any other tips he’s currently on 4 sachets and can’t even get him to drink on ! Would you mix it all together or do a sachet at certain times ?

I used to mix the paediatric sachets with apple juice...only way my DD would take them

Check the dossage on the packaging.

Once it’s prepared with water you can mix it in other drinks like milk, hot chocolate or whatever they will drink.

The adult one is basically twice the dose of the children's one so if he needs 4 childrens sachets it would be 2 adult ones per day. You can split them in half and do it over 4 separate cups, needs to be mixed with 250ml of water for the adult one of 125ml for the children's one and can be mixed with squash or fruit juice.

As above, 'adult' movicol is exactly the same stuff, just twice as much in a packet (and presumably flavourings in some).

We used to mix with apple juice. Some children express a dislike of the 'feel' of it rather than the flavour so mixing it will other things (once you've mixed it with the right amount of water) can help.

We used to mix the plain in with a flavoured fromage frais or yogurt and in desperation ice cream! DD happily ate it.

Once made up you can add what you like to it. I add Ribena to hide the taste.

We add a cordial after it’s been made up in the correct amount of water. It tastes vile otherwise.

Ahh that’s great I had no idea silly me. I mixed it once with milk and the dr said I couldn’t and I just realised he meant don’t dissolve it with milk not water! So that is very helpful. Trying to give him 4 sachets / would you do as many in one go or space some out?
thanks again

I would space them out, the more powder in the mixture the stronger the taste and more noticeable.
