Accidently cut son's ear during haircut. Tetanus? Or am I overthinking?

Hey loves, so obviously I feel very guilty. When my son was napping I have him a long overdue haircut. He is nearly 22 months and won't let me cut it when he is awake. I accidently caught the very tip of his ear with the scissors. It bled but was shallow as he didn't even wake up! It stopped bleeding within a minute and isn't very deep at all. Is there a risk of tetanus? Or am I panicking over nothing. The scissors are stainless steel and weren't washed beforehand but aren't rusty. Anyone got any advice? Thanks.

My son cut his hand with a kitchen knife, it was quite deep but the doctor said not to worry about a tetanus shot after asking me about it

My advice would be to not worry, unless you've been digging in the garden with the scissors!
Honestly, it's just a cut.

No, it's where there is a wound without oxygen getting to it, like a puncture wound.

It’ll be fine. And won’t be the last
time either.

People think metal=rust=tetanus but actually the spores live in soil so unlikely there's any risk here.

If he's had all his vaccinations I wouldn't give it another thought. And even if he has it then he's very unlikely to get tetanus from that sort of injury.

As long as you haven't been using the scissors for gardening, should be fine.
