Hello!

I'm looking for a multivitamin tablet for 6 year old son but need some help please!

Currently has the wellkid liquid mixed into weetabix but sometimes doesn't eat it all So would like to change to a tablet.
He can swallow a tablet, but I can't seem to find any multivitamin tablets for children!
Plenty of gummies and chewable but he doesn't like sweets so won't even try them (asd).

Thanks in advance for your help!

Thank you! He doesn't like sweet tasting things, just looked at those and it says fruity flavour so I don't think he'd entertain them.

I really can't find a kids multivitamin tablet that can be swallowed. I didn't think it would be this difficult!

Could you mix the liquid in a small amount of orange juice or milk in a glass, before he has his cereal?

He will only drink water. Currently mixing the liquid with weetabix but sometimes he wants cornflakes and he won't have the liquid in that as he can taste it.

Have you tried just the liquid on a spoon? mine will accept this as a "medicine"

BeachBabbler · 04/08/2024 21:05

How about a gummy or chewable but just get him to swallow it instead? It will dissolve in his stomach either way so no need to worry about that.

Could you try a spray?

OP - whilst they are 'chewable', these vitamins are easy to swallow.

I ended up contacting vitabiotics and they said not to swallow them, that they must be chewed. I'm presuming it's so he wouldn't choke though?
