Last week, got email from the school saying confirmed cases of chicken pox. We then found out who the friend was and husband said they were all over each other on the playground after school so been expecting. DD was fatigued over the weekend, then Sunday night, we found first spots. She was also feeling under the weather and lack of appetite. But I’m just not sure, she’s not developed anymore spots. We sent pics to gp and they confirmed early stage lesions of chicken pox. Has anyone else had really mild case of chicken pox? There’s about 4 or 5 spots

Just posted a very similar post my DS has almost identical spots and very mild the doctor also said the start of 🐔pox. How are you guys coping now have they got any worse? I’m still torn if my sons are even chicken pox cause you presume they’ll be covered and look more angry. Have attached a pic of his.

She didn’t get anymore, got some itching which antihistamine helped. When i google, the images look horrendous even when I looked up mild cases. Was under the weather and off eating but still second guessing myself if it was chicken pox or not but made decision and kept off school.

Looks similar to my son! I noticed a couple of spots on Sunday night but thought they were bites (as coincidentally discovered our cats have fleas again!). Sent him into nursery on Monday not thinking that it could be chickenpox. They see the spots and mention that it could be (and mention they currently have it doing the rounds!). The pharmacist said more likely chickenpox. Then on Tuesday one was blistered so sort of confirmed it! This is as bad as he got...
No change in behaviour or appetite, spots a little itchy but I never treated them as he wasn't scratching very much at all.
Unfortunately I think this means they will get it again as it is so mild😮‍💨

About 2 months ago, two of our dear grandsons got them -

the one that goes to school (primary) initially got them and about 2/3 weeks later, his baby brother just a couple of months old get them at the next level - covered in a thousand spots and big one under the eye and rash - both are still covered in marks both got them in the hair as well
