Chicken pox “bruises”

Looking for some answers from other parents about chicken pox.
how long did it take for the marks to completely fade? On the NHS website it says about the “bruises” taking 3-6 months to go.

Our little one had an awful case and was absolutely covered, she didn’t scratch any, but they’ve all left marks after the scabs have fallen off and I’m absolutely devastated and feel awful.

Any tips on helping them disappear welcome too 😊 she’s 19 months

My DD had an absolutely awful case when she was 11 months old. Really massive angry red spots all over. She's now just turned 2 and there are still a fair few very faint visible marks on her back, but the ones on her face have all gone.
The ones on her back I think you'd only notice if you were looking tbh. They're pretty faint.

My 12 year old had them age 2, hospital case. Has white scars all over torso, front and back and face. A deep pit on eyebrow which is at least gradually hidden by the brow but also marks below nose and others.

But at least I have my child. It is hard, you do hope that your perfect child won't have scars but they do fade and gradually they become part of your perfect child and you can't imagine their face without them.

Dd has a crater in her forehead, it's not going to fade
