anyone know any way to get them off apart from waiting
my toddlers got two on her face :(
feel like it’s my fault - send her to nursery and probably got it from there :(

Molludab worked for us, definitely got worse before it got better, best to nip it in the bud now, my DD had one on her ankle for two years and then all of a sudden the tops of her legs had loads and they started spreading further. I did the molludab twice a day and also used epsom bath salts for kids to help dry them out. You only need the tiniest bit of the molludab, it does sting though

I used molludab on DS when he had it and that worked fine - the worst of it cleared quite fast. I was worried because everyone told me that if you weren't meticulous in boil washing practically every towel and piece of bedclothing in the house everyone would get it and it wouldn't go away for months and months, and I am not a meticulous person. But as I said, molludab and not boil washing everything was fine.

Colloidal silver spray got rid of my DC molluscum. I ordered it on Amazon and had good reviews.

I recommended it to another mother and worked for her DC. Good luck

Casmama · 12/06/2024 23:25

We used various things but the only thing that worked was Mollenol hydrocolloid patches - not cheap but they were effective

I'm still a believer that popping a few which have a big head with a sterilised needle is best, it makes the immune system realise they are there and kicks it into action. Easy to do as child asleep, practically no pain for child, normally clears up quickly.

Another vote here for molludab, plus popping the biggest one (known as The Mother!).

Bilingualspingual · 13/06/2024 19:02

Molludab worked for us too. Reasonably quickly if I remember.

oh yes the mother i know what you’re talking about 🤣🤣
Just worried she’s 20 months and it’s on the face … hope molludab isn’t too aggressive

Edited

It finally arrived in the post today but I’m just scared to use on the face !
Anyone used on face and it was okay?

Ds had this. They stayed for ages and then just went. I did take him to the gp but nothing to be fine other than wait it out.

OliveK · 13/06/2024 22:11

If you can pop the mother ship, the rest disappear quite quickly.
If you're at all concerned about scarring though it might be worth just waiting it out, they will go with time

BumBumCream · 13/06/2024 22:19

I would just wait it out, especially if they are on the face. Time cures it. Only the mother scarred DD.

as a PP says I never did meticulous hygiene as it’s just not me, and nobody else ever caught it.
