More protein into picky four year old?

My DS is four and extremely picky. At dinner time all he will eat is Mash potato with gravy, and peas. He’ll eat burgers but obviously I limit them, and he snacks on pepperoni/peperami, cheese and yogurts.

He is on the list for an autism assessment.

Im worried since he leaves the protein part of his dinner that he’s missing out on nutrients, he won’t touch alternatives such as chickpeas, lentils etc.

Is there any other way of making up for what he’s missing in his meal?

Does he eat pasta? Aldi sell a chickpea pasta that's super high in protein!

Or you could give him green yoghurt which is a good protein source,

At that age I believe children only need around 20g so I wouldn't worry too much.

Hide some egg in the mash. Add nut flour to the mash or the gravy - you can get almond flour, peanut flour etc.
Peas are high in protein so that's good.
I think he's chosen a high comfort meal, mash and gravy and peas. I can totally see the appeal of it.
You could make your own burgers from chicken or turkey mince so he's not always eating red meat too. And sneak a bit of veg into them. Bit of grated carrot or even a spoonful of brocoli.
