Just wanted some opinions really on whether anyone has ideas what’s going on with my babies face.
She is 6 months old and just started to notice that one of her cheeks is fuller on the other. The right side is bigger.
I don’t see any differences with eyes, I think it’s just the cheek.

Just to say she doesn’t have any flattening on her head… if anything she always sleeps with her face to the right, the side the cheek is bigger.
She also contact naps a lot and that’s also with her right side pressing against my arm.

I don’t think this is torticollis or plago, anyone else experience this?

I’ve just gone back to newborn pics and I’m pretty sure she wasn’t born like this.

(also just to say her eyes are usually perfectly even she just has a bit of a sticky eye atm)

thank you xx

I expect it’s just normal facial asymmetry. My son had one eye slightly bigger than the other bit that you’d notice now. If I look in the mirror I can see asymmetry too but again it only becomes obvious when seeking it out. Try not to worry - it’s so hard when you find yourself analysing detail like this isn’t it x

She is beautiful! Agree with PP- I wouldn’t have noticed if not pointed out. Subtle enough to be normal facial asymmetry. If no other symptoms/otherwise doing well I’d keep an eye for the time being and see GP if any changes.

It is almost imperceptible but I can just about see what you mean. It looks like normal asymmetry.

I didn’t notice at the time, but when looking at my baby daughter’s photos when she was a similar age the two sides of her face were obviously different, especially if she was tired. Now she is an adult I see no difference so I am sure you have nothing to worry about.

I know nothing about medical matters but my word she is lovely, OP! Her little heart shaped face and cute little chin.
