My daughter has a low grade fever, but is completely well in herself. I read online that if they have a fever for more than 24 hours with no other signs of infection to take to GP, what could it mean? Thank you

My daughter had this last week and I was also worried as read about seeing a dr if no other symptoms. took her to the gp and she wasn’t concerned. A couple days later so developed a snotty nose and a cough. Could be worth checking if it’s her ears or a urine infection tho?

sweetdreams23 · 20/02/2024 15:17

When we’ve had this happen before with our daughter it has ended up as a UTI. No other symptoms to start with apart from fever and other symptoms took a few days to arrive

How old is she? Maybe its a viral infection or others say maybe it will be a UTI x

Where did you read this?

I would only ever follow NHS advice or other highly trusted health advice.
