Teeth coming through at an odd time

My DD is five. She wasn't very well midweek and complained about a pain in her mouth, then told me it was a new tooth coming through at the back. I had a look and couldn't see anything, so just thought it was general aches and pains. When I cleaned her teeth last night I looked again, and now there are two points through.

My confusion comes from the timing. She has all her baby teeth already (came through at the 'right' time), and none are even wobbly yet. This appears to be a lower left molar, perfectly behind her second molar - I know my back molars didn't come through until 11 or 12!

Has anyone else seen this sort of thing? She's back at the dentist in April I think, am reluctant to go before unless there is a problem...

This is perfectly normal. The first adult molars come through behind the baby teeth , with no teeth falling out, around this age.

That’s a relief, thank you.
