Teeth coming through behind milk teeth

Just turned 5yo's teeth bottom two teeth are wobbly and his big teeth are coming through very crooked behind his milk teeth. Normal? Seems things are happening for him quite young as 4 adult molars had already erupted by the time he was 4! Wondering if his big teeth will likely correct themselves.

Very normal, once baby teeth come out and jaw grows things will sort themselves out.

Yes, my ds had an adult tooth on his bottom jaw fully come up behind his baby tooth, they were like that for a long time. It was during covid so I sent a photo to the dentist they said it’s very common, they call it shark teeth :) and everything will move into place and straighten up once the baby tooth falls out naturally

Brilliant thank you! That's a relief.

My son had this too OP, at first they looked so out of whack and I was slightly concerned. He was about 6 or 7 I think. Age 11 now and he had beautiful teeth that found their correct place x

My daughter is 5 and had just lost her sixth baby tooth. She has two adult teeth fully grown in at the bottom, two top teeth half grown in and the two at the sides at the bottom coming in behind the baby teeth there and are pushing the 7/8th baby teeth out. She had three teeth by the time she was four months old so (like me) she has just got them earlier. They have fallen out in the order they first grew in as a baby. She has a kids electric toothbrush for age 6+ (which she’s now used to using) since she’s ahead of schedule. We thought this might help her keep all the nooks and crannies clean.

Until a child is at least 8 you should, if you’re not already , be brushing the teeth after they’ve had a go as they don’t have the dexterity to get into all the nooks and crannies.
