1 year old immunisations

Looking for some advice please. My daughter had her 1 year old immunisations on Monday, has seemed fine all week baring a large mark on one of her legs which hasn’t seemed to bother her. Now Sunday and she seems really unsettled & leg is boiling at injection site. No raised temp and still eating and drinking fine. Has anyone else experienced anything similar? Should I be concerned or is this normal?

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

Give Calpol. Draw a dotted line around the edge of the redness and watch to see if it’s spreading.

Sounds pretty standard, just keep an eye on her. If you're at all concerned though then do get her checked out for peace of mind.

Sorry should of been more specific. The redness was in the week and has pretty much gone. It’s just very warm to touch now.

Warm to the touch can be a sign of infection in injection sight, happened to my ds. Just needs antibiotics short course. Pop to the drs, as it’s Sunday get out of hours via 111

If the redness has gone, and there’s no sign of infection such as a lump, I wouldn’t be worried.

Thank you. This morning she won’t walk on it. I’ve rang 111 and they’ve refereed us to a pharmacy appointment. X
