Do babies ears even out in size as they get older

I have 2 slightly different sized ears - the top is curled in slightly but it’s barely noticeable. I only noticed it in the last few years.

My 7 month old DD has the same however hers are much more noticeable. One ear looks much smaller than the other, the top cartilage is quite folded in which makes it look smaller and they’re noticeably uneven.

To me it’s perfect, part of her and I wouldn’t change anything about my beautiful girl, but it was commented on by a stranger and now I am worried that people will point it out to her and she will be self conscious (I’ll of course do everything in my power for this not to happen / make a deal of it / even mention it to her etc).

Is there a chance that they will even out as she grows up? I don’t think mine were as uneven as hers but I can’t find a photo with both of my ears in at her age!

I feel guilty even asking this but I can’t help but worry about it for her.

Yes my dds ears were a bit curled in her first year and they are now (8) even and not curly! I don't know when that happened though.

Oh that’s great! Were they noticeably uneven or both curled?

DD2's got one ear (the left) noticeably smaller than the other.
I used to notice it when breastfeeding.: One side I'd be thinking "she really has tiny ears", then when I swapped sides, I'd think "actually they're not that small".
Eventually (while still a baby) I measured her ear, and it was a full cm smaller than the other one, which at baby size is significant.
She's in her 20s now, and it still is noticeably smaller, but no one ever has noticed except me. It is the looking at one side then the other that made it obvious, whereas no one does that normally.

And when they grow more hair too it makes it even less noticable.

Dd2 was also born missing her left hand from below the elbow, her left foot is also 1/2 a size smaller, her left eye socket is slightly smaller when you look at it etc. So I asked her limb centre, who said it was something they had been asked on more than one occasion, and the reality is that almost everyone is not symmetric and most people will have a bigger foot, bigger ear etc. And it was just because I'd noticed on her that I was seeing it as worrying, and it wasn't.
