Mucus in poo (warning- photo in post)

Hi everyone.

DS has always had reflux and used to have mucus in his poo when he was younger which I was told not to worry about, it went away after a few months, with the occasional bit still here and there, but morning major. I breastfeed, but have no dairy or soya.

DS was 5 months on 1st December and we were advised by the paediatrician to wean early which we started to do 3 weeks ago today. And it really has helped his reflux. I am only doing vegetable purees and waiting 3 days before introducing anything new each time. He has two 'cubes' (I make my own purees and freeze in ice cube trays) in the evenings and that is the only solids he has a day and continues to feed on demand from me throughout the day.

For the first few days he struggled to poo and when it came it was thicker, smelled different and was stuck to his bum and he found is hard to get it out. This carried on for a few days but then he seemed to find it easier to get out and had one poo a day.
On Saturday, I noticed some mucus in his poo. The first day after having peas. The poo was a little green (he had eaten peas, so thought nothing of it). The same day, I also noticed a tooth was on the brink of pushing though the gum. He has seemed to be 'teething' for about a month, hands ALWAYS in his mouth and dribbling, so hadn't noticed anything different apart from more wet dribble bibs
I did peas for the next two days to see if he has any more 'reaction' to them, and there was no more mucus, just a few undigested pea skins!
I then introduced courgette on Monday. Just one cube. He seemed to love it, the next day, there was quite a lot of mucus in his nappy and undigested courgette skin. The nappy had poo in it too, but lots of mucus and was green.

The next day, he had two poos, that were a majority of mucus and yesterday he had 4 poos, the last 3 were only mucus.
Today, he is on poo two currently and the one in the photo was the one he has just done.

He is absolutely fine in himself and has now cut both of his bottom teeth. Should I be concerned? When should I be concerned? I didn't give him courgette last night, I gave carrot as that was a 'safe' food.

Could this be teething? Is it just because his body is getting used to solids? Or should I be really worried?

Teething caused awful poos for my daughter that and colds. She also had allergies but the teething poos were worse!

@Superscientist I'm hoping that's what it is.
?He didn't have any typical teething symptoms though apart from maybe a bit more dribble than normal. Both bottom teeth have cut through now (as of yesterday), but his nappies have still been bad today, I wonder if it takes a few days to get better?

It's the extra dribble that is thought to be the problem with the nappies it might take a few days to calm down and of course there might be more teeth to come. My daughter cut all of her teeth in groups of 4-6 teeth!

My daughter had a cow's milk allergy and her nappies looked like that (though a bit greener).

Teething also affected her poos.
