First milk tooth coming out

My dc's first milk tooth is very wobbly with a bit of blood around it. He had an apple and it all came about very suddenly. Didn't realise it was wobbly before.

Can I ask is there anything I need to do when it does come out?
Also if I force it out a little bit is that bad or ok?
And tooth fairy - what is the going rate and how exactly does it work? Hmm

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

Don't force it out, it will come out when it's ready, you don't need to do anything. My DD got £1 per tooth from the tooth fairy.

Thank you!

Also dc has seen other kids with a necklace sort of thing where they chew on it at school so the tooth comes out painlessly and is not lost? Is that a thing..?

Yeah just let it come out in its own time. We did £2 for first tooth, £1 thereafter but the tooth fairy’s rates seem to vary quite a lot around here which vexes DD no end.

Are you sure the necklace is related to tooth loss? The children I know who use a chewy necklace have one for sensory/self soothing reasons.

Dc is not sure...

Dont force it, just let it do its own thing. Kids just get on with it if you leave them to it and dont make a fuss.

Ds(19) and it used to be a £2 coin. Start putting some by so you always have one ready! Hope you've got a good sleeper, it used to be a nightmare putting it under ds's pillow!

Let it come out on its own. Be warned though it can take weeks and weeks. Dd has had a wobbly tooth for over a month now!

First tooth I got a personalised tooth fairy gift from Etsy and a fiver, other teeth Dd gets £2.

Don’t forget to put the tooth under the pillow (like me) because they are bitterly disappointed and it breaks your heart!

Thank you!

I panicked a bit because of a little bit of blood around it already (although tried to appear very calm). Thought it must be coming out any min.
