Rash - help my health anxiety

Any ideas what this might be on DS's wrist? There are 5 raised tiny raised bumps around his wrist. I don't think they were there yesterday, just noticed them today.

I have anxiety and OCD mainly around a fear of germs and infestations so I'm worried they could be scabies or bed bug bites. I'm meant to be getting an early night to catch up on sleep and my brain is now doing overtime!

Thank you

Sensitive to washing powder on his sleeve?

I can barely see them tbh.

Thank you. His hands have been so dry for about a month. Moisturising cream has helped but he's left with rubbery leathery skin all over his hands, so much so his hand has some discolouration.

I thought it could be dry skin from the weather but he's already gone through 5 winters and never had this before so I feel like there must be more to it. Those spots have added another level of anxiety. I'll try to make a GP appointment to get to the bottom of it!

Aw that looks sore.

Aveeno cream is great for this sort of thing. Definitely looks like your generic "handwashing in winter" kind of rash, but I'm sure GP would put your mind at rest.

Thanks @platinumplus that's reassuring. Yes, one difference to previous winters is that he now washes his hands properly and thoroughly, so it could just be that!

I did see and almost picked up the aveeno cream in the pharmacy, I might go back for it.

I suppose if it was a contagious sinister sort of rash we would have had a school notification by now so fingers crossed!

I am quite anxious too around these kind of things but honestly that doesn't look worrying to me. A few very small red dots, if he's fine in himself I'd probably just monitor it over the next few days.

It really doesn't look like anything sinister at all. My hands go like this every winter and although sore, it's not anything other than a seasonal thing.

Sometimes it's better if you use a bar of soap or hand washes without any nasties. Savon de Marseille is good - you can get it in TK Maxx.

Also La Roche Posay do a cream called Cicaplast which is very soothing on cracked hands.

Hope that puts your mind at rest a bit.

Get something with minimal ingredients like Cetraben

But aiso agree it doesn't look like much. Maybe a mild sensitivity to something
