Toddler accidentally might have drank energy drink

I went into the kitchen for all of 3 minutes... I come back in and my two year old has managed to grab my still lucozade from the table from reach of the playroom.

I don't know if he has actually managed to drink any because I the cap was on but he could've shut it I don't know.

He seems okay but he has the hiccups and I don't know if it's a coincidence or not... is this an emergency? I feel terrible, I'm so scared 😭

Hi just asking for a friend her son is 6 and just drank a little bit of her redbull do yous think it will be ok our need checked she turned her bk for 2 seconds and he had it was only a little bit just wondering

As an adult, I struggle with Lucozade bottle caps so I doubt a toddler managed to open one, take a swig and replace the cap...

How much would he have drunk of it? If just a mouthful I wouldn't worry. If half a bottle I'd get him checked over as little children can be affected by caffeine.

Yes so much so that they often give premature babies caffeine through a drip / injection to help with breathing.
