What's this rash?

Can anyone help identify this rash? As in allergic reaction/sweat/eczema?

Taken DC to pharmacist and was given an ointment, they weren't concerned and said it would clear up. It seems to be spreading and DC is complaining of it being very itchy. It started at creases of elbows and backs of knees.

Hoping there's another type of cream/treatment i can try while i wait for a doctors appointment.

Thank you!

Looks like ezcema to me.
My son suffers.

We have emollients from Dr and antihistamines.

I’m saying eczema too-
these are the most common places for it and it normally flares when we start out heating on at home ☹️As it’s angry looking You’ll need a steroid cream to get on top of it and then just a daily emollient cream. Hugs from another eczema mama x

Thank you for your replies, i'll get her booked in at the GP. Hope it doesn't take too long for an appointment, she's trying her best not to scratch it but she's so uncomfortable with it, just want to get it sorted.

Thanks again.

I would agree with other PP that's eczema. Mine looks similar when it flares up.
1% hydrocortisone cream purchased OTC at a pharmacy might sort it. Failing that a visit to the GP will be needed to get something stronger.

Could it be the dreaded scabies? 🫣 we’ve had them before and they love a crevice! Any between fingers and toes?

I found the MooGoo range plus washing with hibiscrub (recommended by GP) stopped this in its tracks for my daughter. Fucidin (sp?) was prescribed first then the regime above.
