This has popped up on my daughter. She has a temperature and she's in a bad mood. I've never seen these this morning. They've literally cropped up. Should I be worried?

Bites, chicken pox?
keep an eye on her

sugaryouth1 · 11/07/2023 19:07

We've had chicken pox. We have no pets. We had a cat but he's gone now but we flead the house anyway. I'm so so confused. Her temperature is 39 degrees as well

Could be chickenpox if she is grumpy and got a temperature, has she been in contact with anyone with it, incubation period is quite long, up to about 3 weeks

User10486743 · 11/07/2023 19:09

Ah, just see she has had chickenpox.

jb23newmum · 11/07/2023 19:10

I would say mozzie bites - mine are covered in them!

MaggyNoodles · 11/07/2023 19:10

The photo is too fuzzy to tell. Can you take another?

Jinglybangly · 11/07/2023 19:11

Impetigo?

sugaryouth1 · 11/07/2023 19:11

Not sure if this is any better.

Is it localised in one area or is it on other parts of her body?

If in one area it may be shingles

dementedpixie · 11/07/2023 19:13

Or could be bites

sugaryouth1 · 11/07/2023 19:14

The ones I've posted are on her back..she has some.on her legs, some on the inside of her thighs and some on her feet. She had nothing this morning.

Where has she been today to get bitten?

dementedpixie · 11/07/2023 19:16

What age?
Start of hand foot and mouth maybe. Where on her feet are the spots?

Littlemissprosecco · 11/07/2023 19:16

It could be chicken pox again, she’d be very unlucky, is it going round?

Jinglybangly · 11/07/2023 19:17

It does look more like bites, maybe a gnat got into her top and went to town!

Jellycats4life · 11/07/2023 19:18

It’s possible to have chicken pox more than once (I know a kid who had it three times) especially if the first dose was mild.

sugaryouth1 · 11/07/2023 19:20

We played in the sand pit outside today. Went to lidl and had a play at a friends house. I'll keep an eye on them.. I've drawn a circle around the main ones. To see if they spread. She had chicken pox about 2 months ago and she was absolutely covered. I've not changed anything..same washing powder etc. Her temperature is rising to 40 now so I'm on the verge of calling 111 if this calpol doesn't ease it.
