What are these white spots on DD's shoulder?

Hi everyone - I first noticed these spots on DD's shoulder about two weeks ago, and it looked like a very mild nettle sting or perhaps a reaction to plant she'd brushed against in the garden, or a sensitivity to something that she might have come into contact with.

They haven't gone away though, so now I'm wondering what it is. Considered molluscum contagiosum however I've googled pics and it's nothing like the images I can see - DD's spots don't have the raised, pearly appearance of molluscum. They're only slightly raised, very white (almost invisible as she's quite pale) and not itchy or bothering her at all.

I'm thinking it's not worth a doctors appointment at this stage, but I'm curious to know what they might be. Any opinions?

I did initially think molluscum, could it be the very early stages?

Could be malassezia / tinea versicolor: a fungal infection and easily treated with selsun blue shampoo.

I fully expected that it could be molluscum, @glast, but they've remained completely unchanged for over two weeks, so unless molluscum develops really slowly, I really don't think it is. Apparently the early stage of molluscum is small raised white or pink dome-shaped bumps with a dimple - which is definitely not the case with DD.

It reminds me most of the spots you can get from a nettle sting, almost like tiny hives, except zero itchiness or irritation. Weird!

Thank you for the suggestion, @gillefc82 - I've googled that and the images I'm seeing are very different to what I can see on DD; her spots aren't scaly or textured at all, so I don't think so (unless hers is presenting differently to the norm because she's so pale . . . )

Honestly a bit mystified!
