Is baby bottle fed? My eldest was on several horrible tasting medicines at this age and I'd pop them in the teat of an empty bottle and he'd suck them down before realising it wasn't milk. I'd quickly swap to milk as soon as the meds had gone in, he never noticed, or at least didn't show that he had!

Dd had suppository meds as was the same but one hospital admission, the Consultant said ‘well give her 2.5ml of the 6 plus calpol then’

so freaking simple. Completely different texture. Problem solved

I know every child is different but I vividly remember hating suppositories when I was a child and having to endure it going in. I'd avoid that for my dd if it was me. I was always ill with various things so got prescriptions a lot.

I even remember being with my mum at the doctor's when he was about to write the prescription and her saying "it's not a suppository is it? She hates those" and feeling immensely grateful
