It's not a serious threat to a person's health, but can be painful and difficult to live with. People with Raynaud’s often go for a long time without any symptoms, and sometimes the condition goes away altogether. It affects 1 in 5 people worldwide. Follow the guidance from your child's doctor.

My DS (now 18) has it. No idea how severe his case is, but he has always had REALLY cold feet.

He had a period when he got a lot of pins & needles in his legs, probably mid teens, but GP couldn't find why back then.

Now properly diagnosed, the advice from GP is basically to keep moving to make sure circulation is good and to keep warm, that's all they had to offer. It hasn't effected his life too much, he plays 2 sports to a pretty high level, and just wears very thick thermal socks a lot.

Look it up to put your mind at rest. My DH has it and yes, it is inconvenient but not life threatening. You just have to keep an eye out. He was a wood worker and when his fingers go white they also lose all feeling, so je could have whacked them with a mallet and not felt a thing. The internal valves can also close down when the air temp. is reasonable - for no reason. Keeping her warm seems to be the obvious solution but it's more complex than that. Do your own research - it's not scary

I have raynauds - it's really painful at winter but otherwise its just inconvenient being cold/having poor circulation. It's definitely not something to worry about though.

I have it too. Not too painful, but it can be a bit difficult to get the circulation going once it's seized up. (Soaking in warm water works best for me). My fingers easily go numb when I am driving and I have a hot water bottle on my feet in bed most of the year.

As a child I used to get chilblains, but I seem to have grown out of that, thank goodness.
