Lost tooth

My son@7 lost his front tooth.
He is now 13 and though was offered a brace with a fake tooth, has rarely used it or equally been to bothered by it.
Though we are now reaching those tricky years!
He has an option of a bridge (when he is 14) or we could consider an implant tooth once he is 18(he needs to have stopped growing)
Let's discount vanity ....what would you think is the best decision for his long term dental health? Are there differences in long term issues which need to be considered?
I welcome your thoughts.
Thank you 😊

My teeth are too soft for a bridge and I have a funny bite so I have a denture. a bridge will damage the teeth its attached to.

Thank you
How do you find this ? Is it possible to have a denture for one tooth?
Sounds a good option

you can have a no prep adhesive bridge, which would cause no damage to any teeth, this would maintain the space required to possibly fit an implant at some future time. There are pros and cons to everything, leaving it too long before implants can lead to too much bone loss and necking.
Yes you can have a one tooth denture

He should be wearing his appliance OP or he'll lose the space he needs for any sort of restoration-long term prosthetic or fixed restoration alike.

Thankyou
This hasn't been an issue so far and he has a good gap, but I understand your point and I will pick up next month with orthodontist, as this could change.
