How contagious is a child prior to the actual vomiting starting? Some complaints of feeling nauseous but well enough to have gone to football club after school. Vomited once home.

My child sat next to this child in class today. Wondering how likely it is we will end up with it. We have big plans on Sunday!!

So this morning their temps were 39.9 and so now we have antibiotics

We'd be a day ahead if they'd have believed me yesterday!!!

@wobblymum1 I have one seasoned pro who's taking the antibiotics mixed with yoghurt fine. The other is a nightmare. Refusing everything, gagging if I do convince her to have any. It's genuine fear on her part... I'm not really sure what to do about her Confused

Wow your seasoned pro is very impressive at that age! the other one I completely sympathise with 😢😢
tiny tricks - a really yummy (ie lemonade) to sip after each ml of antibiotics straight away or a tiny choc button? Or o found choc mousse covered
the taste a bit better than yogurt.
with my dd she would work herself up so much about it she’d
end up gagging just looking at it. So hard. I often had to resort to saying if she wouldn’t take it she’d have
to go in for an injection and we’d spend the next hour getting down 5mls in tiny drops with lemonade.
You have all my sympathies 😢😢😢

@wobblymum1 that has just made me feel a whole lot better!
Exactly the same. definitely her working herself up causing then problem. The after taste is pretty awful (clarithromycin) and I do completely understand why she doesn't like it, but I did end up getting cross because it also took an hour to get about 3/4 dose in to her Sad
