Permanent low grade fever following virus??

Hi, just wondering whether anyone may have had a similar experience with their little one having a low grade fever following a virus? Basically our daughter had a virus back in December which she recovered from but has since had a daily temperature of around 37.3-37.7. It does drop to around 36.5 when she’s asleep but then goes back up when she’s awake. In the meantime she’s had two UTI infections which were treated with antibiotics and croup, all of which she seems to be over now..aside from the temperature! She’s been seen by paediatrics who don’t seem too worried as all her blood tests came back ok and they’ve told us to keep a temperature log and they’ll see her again in April. We’ve been seen by GPs several times in the interim who can’t find any other sources of infection and think it may just be back to back viruses 🤷🏻‍♀️ she’s absolutely fine in herself…eating/drinking/playing so we’re feeling at a bit of a loss. Anyone else has a similar experience and got any answers?

You don’t say her age but if she’s in nursery or school I’d think back to back viruses. It’s been a hell of a winter. I’ve noticed my children running a bit warm for a while after influenza A and gastric bugs this winter.
I’d try to treat the child not the fever so if she’s well in herself I wouldn’t worry overly.

She's 2 with older siblings who are at school so she is exposed to anything they bring home. Everyone we speak to says it's unusual but they don't seem to be too worried at this point. Unlike me!! Was just hoping that over 2 months on we might be back to "normal" by now 😣

Ds had something a bit like that when he was 8yo, but it also went with extreme exhaustion.
He'd have a permanent low grade fever which came up in the afternoon.
Never really resolved what it was, but it wasn't anything sinister.

I did read about an adult with long covid who had constant high temperatures after covid. I think it only stopped for them when they got vaccinated and that gave their body the extra boost to get rid of the lingering infection.

No idea if this is relevant to your situation, sorry you’re having to deal with this.
