My son is 8 and has a (very cute) lisp, I'm speaking to docs about it. He has also lost and replaced his front teeth so it's not that.
Just very recently he's talking out of one side of his mouth, I just filmed him and his top lip isn't really getting involved on one side🤔
I've obviously googled and horrified myself as standard but I was wondering if anyone here had any similar experience?
I will take him to be looked at but need to pass the gp receptionist obstacle course first.

My son also has a lisp. We are lucky enough to live in a country where there is a speech therapist at school so he has been seeing her for a year or more now. I thought it was teeth related but actually his lisp has caused problems with his teeth to the extent that he is going to need a head brace. We work really hard on his speech but it's a long process. I would get yourself on the wait list for therapy and see a dentist or orthodontist rather than a doctor.

Thanks, I will speak to school as well then. He's becoming a bit of a sprayer when he talks and I don't want him to suffer any bad results from that.
