4 year old uncomfortable vulva

I've noticed recently my 4 year old is touching her vulva a lot in an evening and every so often throughout the day. Today I've noticed she is crossing her legs a lot when standing. This has been going on some weeks/ months. When asked, she says she has 'bubbles' - I can't tell if there's pain or itching, because whatever I suggest, she just agrees to.

Someone will say worms but I have plunged to the depths of checking in the night with a torch, and it's not (she has been treated twice though, in case.)

She wipes properly, baths every couple of days (has eczema otherwise), doesn't use harsh bubble baths, wears cotton knickers. Should I see a GP?

Thank you.

I should add it doesn't appear to cause any discomfort when she is actually asleep

An evening bump

Is there a bump in her knickers where the gusset is? As a kid that would really make me sore.

Otherwise maybe she has a slight UTI or gets a bit dehydrated and has strong urine? Also kids can get thrush.

Might be worth a trip to the GP.

If everything looks okay I'd also suggest seeing a GP.

This could be my daughter. She is 10 now but has suffered with UTIs for a few years, and also described the feeling as 'bubbles'. Definitely take her to the GP and make sure she is drinking plenty of water.
If my daughter is uncomfortable she fiddles more with herself, spends ages wiping, and I'm sure that contributes to the next UTI.

Hadn't considered a UTI but it's definitely possible she doesn't drink enough. She would never ask for a drink and maybe I need to have one just available for her where possible. When she was younger she had toddler diarrhoea so we are in the habit of only giving her a drink at meal times, so probably need to look back at that. And a GP appointment.
