Could this be Hand Foot and Mouth?

Just noticed when LO was in the bath that he has faint spots all over his feet.

Could it be the start of HFM? I'm surprised as nursery are usually really good at telling us what's going around and HFM hasn't been mentioned.

He has had a faint rash for a week or two following the MMR jabs but it was only on his abdomen and has almost disappeared. Now it just seems to be appearing on his feet and a little in the nappy area too.

Just curious as to what we can expect over the next few days, he's absolutely fine so far.

Looks like it. Pox usually starts on torso first or warm areas. Have you checked his throat?
DD had it at a similar age, off her food for a bit and a temp but passed quite quickly. A few spots around her mouth.
DH caught it off her and was very poorly he must not have had it in childhood

Actually yes I should have said he already had chickenpox at 6 months old (was absolutely covered and miserable, fun times). So the guesses are probably HFM or random non-specific baby rash which we do seem to get quite a lot, but not usually on the feet.
His throat is fine and he's still eating well... so far. Will keep an eye out tomorrow.
Yes I'm hoping DH and I have immunity as I've heard it's pretty bad as an adult. Older DC have never had it either so we'll have that to look forward to as well!

Looks like it, sorry. Do they have a temperature? There’s a case at our nursery today. Hoping mine skip it!

No temperature, interesting there is a case at yours, I wonder if it's seasonal. Fingers crossed yours skip it! I'm hoping we skip the miserable symptoms. Of course this happens over half term when it's my turn to be off work with the DC!

If it is hfm hopefully it isn't too bad, I'd have just thought it was a random mild virus on DD until I saw a few spots on her mouth.
Frozen yoghurt tubes seemed to help (or mini milk lollies 😁)
