Hi all, just need some advice if anyone else has been through this. My daughter is recently quite lethargic in the day. I initially assumed she just wanted to chill out and watch TV but she goes to play with her toys and gets tired quite quickly. I feel awful thinking she was just being clingy but other things going on may link to this. Her GP put her on antibiotics a few weeks ago for a sore throat but she's had a cough for nearly 6 weeks now. It's the reason I initially went about the cough. Asthma has been mentioned as something they may look into. Now she's being tired during awake time I'm wondering if it is that now. Just advice on whether anyone has been through this themselves. Was it asthma? Can it be a phase? Worth ringing the GP back? I think I'm scared of the outcome at this moment. Thank you in advance.

Speak with your GP again. This could be almost anything. We would not diagnose asthma in a 1 year old. No-one can really advise you. Trust your instincts, this is a change in her usual behaviour

Did they give you an inhaler?
My sons had 1 since he was 1 but they won't diagnose him with asthma yet at 3.

If you don't think she's right in herself yes ring them so they can check her over

No they didn't give me one. I think she was hopeful that the sore throat was causing the cough but they isn't the case now. Thank you for your advice.
