I wonder if anyone has any advice - my six year old has pain on his left little toe when you try to separate it from the toe next to it. It doesn’t hurt him at all doing any sort of activity, only when you pull it out sideways (gently!). He is a bit over sensitive with pain so I had thought maybe it was more psychological, but it doesn’t hurt to separate the foot on the otherside.

I have left it a few weeks and it’s not resolved, do you think it needs treating? Not sure what could be done for it, but it’s really playing on my mind!

Could it be athletes foot?

Why does he need to pull it sideways? I have to be honest, I wouldn't waste a GP appointment with something like this. Would probably suggest advice from a chemist if anything. Hope he gets sorted.

Athletes foot? Ingrown or painful toenail? Small cut in the webbing between toes?

Thanks for the replies - I had a look there is nothing external at all, it’s a real puzzler. Yes I am thinking just stop pulling it and ignore it haha. But a niggling voice keeps thinking might have a fracture or something….but then there is no swelling or anything.
