Words and terms used by health visitors

I'm an interpreter and next week I have an appointment interpreting at a Health Visitor's appointment, between a non-English speaker and a nursery nurse.

I'm trying to prepare a glossary to learn but I'm not sure what sort of words and terms might be used.

If you're a health visitor, or you see health visitors, could you tell me what kinds of terms I might come across?

Thanks!

If you Google the ages and stages health visitor questionnaires those are a good start as they are the basis for the scheduled appointments for checking toddlers' development. My personal experience with babies is that health visitors mainly were talking about the baby's feeding/ sleeping/ home/ support network arrangements and checking that the mum is feeling ok emotionally.

If it’s a young baby then things like
breast feeding,
formula/bottle feeding.
wet or dirty nappies

Also Google safe sleeping guidance as the health visitor might want you to explain that to the mum.

If it's a nursery nurse, it will probably be for a toddler/young child won't it?

Thank you! Will have a look for a copy of these questionnaires
