I posted a few days ago as Ds had a rash, GP diagnosed over phone as ringworm.

Sorry posted too soon.
He’s been using the canestan for a few days but seems to now have more spot patches, is it common for more spots to develop over the course of a week?

How old is your ds?

My teenager had this: www.nhs.uk/conditions/pityriasis-rosea/ which I assumed was ringworm when I first saw it.

If it is pityriasis rosea rather than ringworm then it does just go away on its own.

Ds is a teenager.
When I posted last week someone suggested pityriasis rosea, I did wonder whether it might be that, GP said ringworm but I wasn’t sure if more patches would develop with ringworm or if it was a bit more indicative of P.Rosea

I guess the ultimate test is if canestan is clearing up the patches that you've been treating?

I've had fungal patches on my torso and they started to clear up pretty quickly with treatment. I had some canestan in when ds1 got the Pityriasis so I started treating right away before we saw the doctor because I just assumed fungal but it made no difference.
