Mild toddler eczema

DD (2.5) has mild eczema patches on her arms and legs. It doesn’t seem to be bothering her, she doesn’t scratch it so it’s never bleeding or anything, it’s just the scaly patches behind her knees, in her elbows, as well as little patches elsewhere.
It doesn’t seem to warrant a Dr, so I was wondering what the best cream was for mild eczema like this? Just some E45? As it’s mild, will any simple, non-scented, non-coloured moisturiser be ok? Or are there certain things that will help more?

Something non irritating will be good. Your pharmacist can tell you. E45 works for a lot of people, but there are lots of other options if it doesn’t eg Aveeno. Also get them to recommend what you use in the Bath.

It’s good to get on top of it, as if her skin gets really dry it could get a lot worse. Moisturise at least twice a day, use a very mild baby wash and don’t Bath her her whole body too often.

I slather DD in Aveeno Dermexa all over after a bath and then treat bad spots as they pop up with Sudocrem. Does the trick for us!

I agree with reducing baths this made a big difference when mine were younger, we always use the sanex children's range for the bath which is very gentle. For mine sudocrem just dried them out more and didn't have much luck with E45 or Aveeno either. We use aquaphor and that works for us. Think it can be a case of trial and error for what will work for your little one.

Try aveeno baby dermexa a few times a day.
