Does Baby Need To See A Doctor.

My 7m DS went to bed as normal last night, not showing any sign of illness, etc. He woke about 5.45am with quite a piercing cry which took some time to calm him. He had somewhat of a bottle but not a full one as he pushing it away. About 8am he was sick twice (baby milk which was tinged a pale yellow) and again now about 10.30am (just after a bottle). He's been quite agitated and hard to settle at times. He's pale and his cry is a little off today and he's having bouts of crying every now and again like he's in pain. I'm not sure drowsy is the correct word to use, but he's been a bit out of sorts (i.e. when DP had fed him and then laid him down to change him, normally he'd be wriggling but he has just led there, hands on his eyes and closed his eyes). I have two other DC and they are fine as are me and DP. I'm not sure if this warrants a call to see a doctor or its just some sort of bug and to let it pass through him. We all know how the NHS is currently so I don't want to waste anyone's time. But I'd take him in a heartbeat if that's what this warrants... Advice anyone?

Has he got a temperature or a rash anywhere on his body? Was he distressed by the light in his eyes?

Call 111 for advice if you’re not sure, that’s what they’re there for.

No temp. One of the first things I checked - it was 36.5c. He was a little clammy on top of his head though. No rash in him either. I wouldn't say he was distressed but the putting his hands over his eyes and closing them he's not done before...

I agree about phoning for advice, especially as his behaviour is new to him. Hoping all goes well for him.
