Can anyone recommend acne treatment for my 10 year old DD? It's been going on for a year now and I can't get in to see a doctor at the mo.

I've been using some sort of cleansing wash plus a gel/cream, including

Dermalex acne treatment cream (worked the best but apparently it smells bad - although I can't smell it)
Freederm gel
Freederm overnight skin repair

Plus

Nivea gentle face cleansing cream wash
Clearasil 5 in 1 cleansing pads (the favorite)
Clean and clear deep action face wash (hated)

And some others I've forgotten. She has greasy skin and fringe which doesn't help, and she is a bit of a shower dodger.

Any suggestions? Thanks 🙏

I had horrific skin at that age, tried absolutely every gel, cream, lotion and potion available, doctors appointments, antibiotics, prescription creams... Nothing helped.

Tried a £1 gel from Wilko and my skin was amazing, very rarely got a single blemish after starting it, I think it was called Skin therapy tea tree blemish gel, was a little white bottle, I used to put a thin layer on my face every morning and night and the difference it made was amazing

This is the gel, the website says unavailable but I don't know if that means it's just out of stock or if they stopped doing it

La Roche-Posay Effaclar Duo moisturiser and facewash are excellent, so is Paulas Choice Skin Perfecting 2% BHA Liquid Exfoliant. And use a salicylic acid to clear up spots, The Ordinary do a good one.
